A proposed set of new state science standards for South Dakota is attracting opposition from a state senator who favors creationism and climate change denial. Plus signs of progress on climate science in Texas social studies textbooks, a new issue of Reports of the NCSE, and further signs of progress on climate science in Texas social studies textbooks.
