Word run match analysis of texts authored by Granville Sewell.
Match script "fmatch" v.108 and analysis by Wesley R. Elsberry.

Sewell 2011 manuscript as provided by Applied Mathematics Letters, compared to the text of chapters 3, 4, and 5 from Sewell's 2010 book, "In The Beginning". Given that the text from the book did not include the references, those were also excluded from the analysis and the statistics from the 2011 manuscript, which may artificially depress the percentage match numbers. In other words, assuming that some of the same references appear in both, the analysis gives Sewell a pass on copying those.
The matching analysis produces a couple of outputs of note. The report displays the text matches and the statistics for the comparison. The text matches demonstrate directly the strength of the match comparison, so one does not have to blindly trust the script's operation. The side-by-side document attempts to show the context in both the reference (later) and subject (earlier) documents leading up to a text match instance.
